Overview
The Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute is an internationally accredited programme developed in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University. It covers the full user-centred design process — from research and analysis through to interaction design and usability testing.
This was a deliberate career investment. I had been building software for years and noticed that the gap between a functional product and a great one was almost always UX. I wanted to close that gap with formal training.

What I Learned
The course gave me a rigorous framework for UX: conducting user interviews, creating journey maps, building wireframes, running usability tests, and iterating based on evidence rather than assumptions.
The practical nature of the curriculum meant I was applying these techniques to real product problems throughout — and the methodology I picked up has shaped every design decision I've made since.
